APPROVAL OF THE CHARTER CONTRACT AMENDMENT BETWEEN ISLAND VILLAGE MONTESSORI CHARTER SCHOOL, INC. AND THE SCHOOL BOARD OF SARASOTA COUNTY, FLORIDA
Description
The Island Village Montessori Charter School intends to expand its grade levels to include 9th grade beginning in the 2012-2013 school year. Pursuant to Section 1002.331, Florida Statutes, the school is authorized to expand grade levels. The amendment to the charter contract submitted for approval specifies the terms and conditions to serve students in grades Kindergarten through 9th grade.
Recommendation
That the amendment to the charter for the Island Village Montessori Charter School be approved as presented.
